Audible exec to keynote inaugural NJBIZ Women’s Leadership Summit

The inaugural NJBIZ Women’s Leadership Summit will convene the state’s top professionals this fall to learn from each other and to build a network to create change. 

Scheduled for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 14 at The DoubleTree by Hilton in Somerset, the event will welcome women from all industries across the state. Attendees will include up-and-coming leaders, CEOs, managers and industry icons who will gather for a full day of education and networking. 

The keynote speaker will be Audible Head of Social Innovations Tiffany Jackson. Additionally, two panel discussions are set for the day:

  • Money Talks: Creating and Keeping Wealth
  • Making the Leap: Middle Management to the C-Suite and Boardroom

Meet the keynote

Jackson joined the Newark-based leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling earlier this year, focusing on Audible’s initiatives that expand opportunities for young people and emerging creators globally. She works to leverage the company’s global reach, storytelling power and industry expertise to forge a more equitable and resilient future worldwide, according to Audible.

Jackson has more than 15 years of progressive leadership experience in social impact, philanthropic giving and corporate social responsibility, with a focus on education, economic development and the arts. Prior to joining Audible, Jackson worked at Prudential Financial, directing the company’s philanthropic giving in Newark, as well as at Uncommon Schools, scaling and replicating high-quality public school models in New Jersey and New York.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from Rutgers University. She serves on the board of Invest Newark and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
